Mount Eliza
Resort living at home was the inspiration for this property in Mount Eliza, Mornington Peninsula.
The rear of the backyard is framed with the stunning infinity edge pool providing a calming view from the large windows of many rooms of the home. The pool was designed to retain the natural ground level of the sloped block, which gives the rear hedge a spectacular impact of grandness all while creating complete privacy from the neighbours behind. The staircase was designed with entertaining in mind, add a few cushions and it’s the perfect place to sit under the shade of the gum trees, maximising the borrowed landscape from neighbouring properties. The large dining space is nestled under a Crepe Myrtle tree which will provide afternoon shade in years to come. The deck area is the outdoor lounge to sit and enjoy the view while the BBQ or wood-fired pizzas are being prepared in the sunken kitchen space. Filetti pavers encompass the pizza area to gather and socialise around the large concrete benchtop, where stools neatly tuck under for convenience. The gardens throughout the landscape give a green and soft tone to the hardscapes and provide the perfect visiting spot for birds, butterflies and bees. 2 large gum trees were incorporated into the planting schedule for the loved native birds of the area. The songs of Kookaburras, Magpies, and squeals of Cockatoos are heard of an early morning and evening while relaxing at this home resort.
